A Grelha at The Gun, Summer Barbeque by the River!

 

A Grelha is The Gun’s entirely al fresco bar and restaurant on the rivers edge (to the right hand side of The Gun). With stunning views over the Thames and the O2, it is the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine during the summer month.

Enjoy a glass of Sangria or a pint of draught San Miguel while your fresh fish/meats are roasting away in the BBQ in front of your eyes.

 

All food is cooked to order on our huge open charcoal BBQ. Dishes includes Algarve classics such as seafood Cataplana (a fish and seafood stew slowly cooked in a copper Cataplana dish), Chorizo flamed in Medrono (a Portuguese spirit) and the famous chicken Piri-Piri.

Other delights includes tiger prawns cooked in their shell with garlic, chilli & fresh herbs, whole Dourade (sea bream), sea bass and lamb espetada (hanging skewer).

All fish and seafood is handpicked by our chefs every morning at nearby Billingsgate market.

 

On our wine list you will fine a good selection of Portuguese wines and the bar stocks a selection Portuguese beers (Super bock and Sagres) as well as Sangria, Pimms and refreshing summer cocktails (Caipirinha, Mojito…).

 

Whether it’s just a table for two or a private party for 200, A Grelha offers a wonderful dining experience with that little bit extra, unrivalled in London.
