A Grelha

A Grelha at The Gun, summer barbeque by the river, is now closed following another fantastic summer season! We are due to re-open next May 2012.  

A Grelha is The Gun's entirely al fresco bar and restaurant on the river’s edge. With stunning views over the Thames and the O2, it is the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine during the summer months.

Enjoy a pint of draught Super Bock or a deliciously chilled glass of Portuguese wine while your fresh fish and meats are grilled by our expert chefs in front of your eyes.
 
All food is cooked to order on our authentic open charcoal BBQ. Dishes include Algarvian classics such as seafood Cataplana, chorizo flamed in Medronho (a Portuguese spirit) and the famous firey piri piri chicken. Other delights includes tiger prawns cooked in their shell with garlic, chilli & fresh herbs, whole Dourade (sea bream), sea bass and lamb espetada (hanging skewer). All fish and seafood is handpicked by our chefs every morning at nearby Billingsgate market.

On our wine list you will fine a wide selection of Portuguese wines and the bar stocks Portuguese beers (Super Bock and Sagres) as well as refreshing summer cocktails that are shaken and stirred to perfection by our skilled bar team.

Our events team can organise summer parties of all sizes - featuring delicious canapés, fantastic drinks and stunning views, A Grelha promises a party to remember. Whether it's just a table for two or a private party for 200, A Grelha offers a wonderfully unique Portuguese experience.
